Ajan Kloss

Ajan Kloss is a humid jungle moon located in a poorly explored region of space near the Celanon Spur. Even before the start of the Galactic Civil War it was charted by scouts from Alderaan, who deliberately concealed the information from the Imperial Senate: the moon was considered a possible site for a rebel base alongside Yavin 4 and Dantooine, although a shift in the front line thwarted these plans.

Later Luke Skywalker trained Leia Organa here, who became his first student from the new generation of Jedi; during her training she used her own lightsaber in practice duels and achieved considerable mastery. In 35 ABY the Resistance set up a base in a cave on this moon; the historian Beaumont Kin speculated that it had previously served as a refuge or storehouse of the vanished Kloss people.
