Shadow Collective

A criminal alliance created during the Clone Wars by Maul with the participation of Mother Talzin, Savage Opress, and the Mandalorian Pre Vizsla. The union also acted as an unofficial Sith order rivaling Darth Sidious.

The alliance included Death Watch and its units, the Black Sun syndicate, the Pyke Syndicate, a Hutt clan, and the Nightbrothers of Dathomir; later Crimson Dawn was also counted among its members. Maul's goal was to challenge Sidious's designs and contend with him for power, while also opposing both the Confederacy and the Republic.

With the forces he had gathered, Maul seized power on Mandalore, overthrowing the rule of Satine Kryze, but Pre Vizsla turned against him and was killed in a duel. Further intervention by Sidious himself and the subsequent events of the Clone Wars deprived the union of its former scope.
