Destruction of Kijimi

After the Resistance team managed to escape from Kijimi and from aboard the Steadfast, Darth Sidious ordered the planet destroyed. The order was given to Allegiant General Enric Pryde and to the Sith Eternal, the community that maintained the fleet secretly built on Exegol. The planet was fired upon by a Star Destroyer that had arrived from Exegol. Its guns were designed to destroy entire worlds, and Kijimi ceased to exist. The demonstrative nature of the strike was obvious: it confirmed that every ship of the hidden fleet was equipped with such weaponry. This was precisely the conclusion drawn by the Resistance as it watched the planet's destruction: if the Emperor was capable of destroying worlds with an entire fleet, the war ceased to be a confrontation between armies. The destruction of Kijimi became an argument for an immediate strike against Exegol before the fleet left the hidden world.
