Clash on Shikaakwa and the capture of Daegen Lok

25,793 BBYExact dateLast checked: 23 October 2026

Lok's attempt to win the support of Baron Volnos Ryo turned into a fight with the Je'daii, in which Xesh switched sides and helped capture Lok.

Description

Lok's plan was to gather Hadiya's surviving supporters on Shikaakwa into an army of his own, armed with forcesabers, and lead it against the coming threat. To that end he had earlier recruited four of Hadiya's former generals in a cantina, and then he came to the private chambers of Baron Volnos Ryo, who had once helped him infiltrate the Despot Army, and met with objections. The Je'daii who arrived afterward joined the fight. Lok and Xesh split up to draw off their pursuers; Lok destroyed the sword of the Ranger Rori Fenn with a forcesaber. The climax came when Hawk Ryo's cry of pain brought Shae Koda to her senses: she threw off the influence Lok had placed on her and picked up a fallen forcesaber. Lok ordered Xesh to kill her, but Koda persuaded the Force Hound to make his own choice, and he turned against Lok. Lok was again imprisoned on Bogan, and the Order began preparing for war with the Rakata. A year later, when the Infinite Empire had advanced deep into the system, he was released and allowed to lead the Je'daii forces with the rank of general.
