Fall of Jacen Solo and his apprenticeship to Lumiya

Nelani Dinn, a native of Lorrd, was trained by Jacen Solo and received the rank of Jedi Knight. In 40 ABY she was serving on her home planet when her former teacher and his apprentice Ben Skywalker arrived there: they were investigating the appearance of an unusual artifact found on Toryaz Station. The investigation led the three of them to a woman who called herself Brisha Syo. Syo brought them to her dwelling, a mining facility near Bimmiel, and revealed her true name: Lumiya, Dark Lady of the Sith, who had for many years been considered vanished. Dinn was separated from her companions, and she encountered the ghost of the Sith Darth Vectivus, who tried without success to persuade her to strike. Climbing higher, she came upon Lumiya's attempt to turn Solo and engaged her in a duel that ended in a draw. When Dinn tried to take Lumiya into custody, Solo, who had already succumbed to her influence, pursued the young Knight through the facility and stabbed her with his lightsaber. This killing was his first step toward the dark side.
