Grogu's training with Luke Skywalker

The foundling Grogu had been a ward of the Jedi Temple on Coruscant and survived the Great Purge, hidden by Master Kelleran Beq. Decades later Din Djarin, fulfilling an obligation he had taken upon himself, handed the child over to Luke Skywalker, who agreed to take him into his care and teach him the ways of the Force. The training took place in seclusion: Skywalker carried his student on his back while climbing bamboo stalks, they meditated, and the teacher explained that balance comes through the Force. A considerable part of the lessons was spent breaking the habit of catching and eating the local frogs. Ahsoka Tano noted the teacher's progress, but Skywalker himself believed that the child was rather remembering his earlier training, including the events of Order 66. Sensing that his student's heart was not set on the path of the Jedi, Skywalker offered him a choice: accept the armor sent by Djarin and return to his attachment, or take Yoda's lightsaber and continue his training. Grogu chose the armor, and R2-D2 brought him to Tatooine.
