Duel on the Death Star wreckage at Kef Bir

The deciphering of a Sith inscription indicated that the Emperor's wayfinder was located on the moon Kef Bir in the Endor system, among the wreckage of the second Death Star that had fallen into its ocean. Rey entered the ruins alone and found the object in the chamber that had once been the Emperor's throne room. Kylo Ren followed her to Kef Bir, having received a direct order from Darth Sidious to kill the Jedi apprentice. He destroyed the wayfinder, hoping thereby to push Rey toward the dark side, and a duel broke out between them: between the grandson of Darth Vader and the granddaughter of Darth Sidious, bound in the Force as a dyad. The course of the fight was turned by the death of Leia Organa: sensing it across the galaxy, Ren lost his focus, and Rey ran him through with his own blade. Realizing that she had acted out of anger, she healed her opponent with the Force and withdrew into exile on Ahch-To. The bond between them, his mother's death, and the memory of his father brought Ben Solo back to the light side.
