Natasi Daala
Profile
The first woman to hold the rank of admiral in the Imperial Navy, one of the founders of the Imperial Remnant and later Chief of State of the Galactic Federation of Free Alliances. She began her career under the patronage of Moff Tarkin and for many years ran a secret research facility in the Maw.

Description
Daala was born on Irmenu, grew up on Bothajef, and joined the navy on Carida, where she encountered prejudice because of her sex. She came to the attention of Moff Wilhuff Tarkin after she defeated many experienced officers in training battles under an assumed name; he became her patron and her lover and made her an admiral. Daala then spent eleven years with four Star Destroyers guarding a secret research base in the Maw, where superweapons were being developed, knowing nothing of events in the galaxy.
In 11 ABY, Han Solo, Chewbacca, and Kyp Durron stumbled upon the base; on learning of the deaths of Tarkin and Palpatine, she launched her own campaign of revenge, but lost the Sun Crusher and three Star Destroyers, and she destroyed the base herself so that it would not fall to the New Republic.
A year later she attempted to unite the Imperial warlords, executed them, and took their forces, but after suffering defeat she handed command to Gilad Pellaeon and left the service. She later helped the New Republic against Moff Tol Getelles, married Liegeus Vorn, and gave birth to a son.
